You are invited to become a member of the BERTHA MAE JOHNSON MIMS LEGACY OF LOVE FOUNDATION, established June, 2017. Membership in such an esteemed foundation assures you of the friendship, welfare oversight and close associations of men and women who share and care their lives with others. We also offer post going home services in behalf of loved ones who have passed in the way of providing internment oversight duties; floral designs and deliveries to final resting place locations; send letters of comfort and address any needs of family members; especially children; and accept requests for any final expenses for those in need and part of our membership partners. We also visit the sick in hospitals, help in volunteer cleaning of homes and offices of the deceased and prepare and deliver meals for up to ten days to homes of bereavement. Any necessary activity of our member families are not too much to ask.

A home away from home, and a family of loved ones, awaits those who become members of the foundation. New sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers in the faith of love are yours for the asking as you participate in a gathering of concerned and loving friends!

Meetings for foundation members and friends are monthly; held in Pasadena/Los Angeles/Palos Verdes; and feature breakfast or luncheon fare, with recognized speakers and endorsers of the foundation. Program agendas and meeting updates are posted on the website weekly, and non-members invited by members are welcome to join us for a total of three meetings before making a decision to join. We have fun and offer powerful insights for living and loving, and we share ourselves freely! Foundation recipients for gifting are selected each year and awarded gifts of honor. Three times per year small member gatherings take place to celebrate and reward our volunteers.

Members, known as FOUNDATION, LEGACY, ROUND TABLE and SOCIETY PARTNERS, are the best of individuals this world has to offer and they have a proven track record of assistance in their communities. They work for the common good of all they come into contact with. Interested parties may also consider creating their legacy their through planned gifts to the foundation in the way of wills, trusts, insurance policies, IRA's and other forms of wealth.

Organizations we also support in Bertha Mae's honor are: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center,  Children's Hospital Los Angeles, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Alzheimer's Association, and SPCALA Friends for life.
